Though generally in cardiology we don’t cure patients, it is one of the fields in medicine (unlike surgery) where we can make a great difference in the outcome and prognosis of the disease. Laypersons need to know that good cardiac care can turn a potentially deadly condition into being one with which patients may expect to live many good, productive years. ~Meir Mazuz, MD, FACC
